Well Samsung certainly made effort to churn out smartphone-based handsets and it all looks pretty the same to me. Of course, if you have been following closely on Samsung’s latest developments, you’d notice that they have unveiled their latest YP-R1 for the market.
The phone comes with 8GB storage as well as a somewhat tiny 2.7 inch touchscreen with 400 x 240 resolution. Surely, the YP-R1 supports all major video and audio codecs and it comes with TV-out as well. You can also find Bluetooth, e-book reader, games and FM tuner.
It will be out in UK later this month for £109.99 (about $181 US). It’s a pretty standard phone, but if you like the design – why not?

I’m a huge fan for NEC products as I have a pleasant experience using their one of their displays. Can you imagine that my 15 inch NEC monitor that I bought more than 15 years ago still is usable and it still can display crisp images, after so many years of relentless usages?
Of course NEC has recently launched a couple of their high end displays recently and these are the MultiSync LCD2490WUXi and LCD2490W2-BK-SV displays. Do take note that these are more suitable for professional graphics users. On the other hand, the monitor comes with 1,900 x 1,200 resolution and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1, 320 cd/m² brightness and most importantly the AmbiBright ambient light sensor. The LCD2490W2 model is a little different as it has NEC's SpectraView color calibration sensor.
The LCD2490W2 is up for grabs for $1,299 and the MultiSync LCD2490WUXi for $1,099.

Dell certainly is making headlines with the introduction of their latest Studio XPS 13 and Studio XPS 16 range of laptops. I can see that both of these laptops come with sleek black and glossy design and personally, I would definitely want to own one of these.
Of course, if you ask me – what would I like to change on the Studio XPS 13 and Studio XPS 16? Well to be frank with you, there isn’t much that you can improvise on these laptops as it is already top of the line, but with such a glossy outlook, I’m sure that it’s really easy to leave scratch marks all over the exterior, don’t you think so?

Apparently, Panasonic has unveiled their latest CN-HX3000D Blu-ray capable player and it comes with a hell lot of goodies. In fact, this particular device can also act as a GPS navigational system inside your car which I think is pretty cool.
On the other hand, the CN-HX3000D comes with the following features:
7-inch, 1280 x 720 display GPS Bluetooth 40GB hard drive iPod/iPhone compatibility Blu-ray player
Personally, I think that this particular device looks pretty amazing. And best of all, you can fit it easily inside your car and watch Blu-ray discs while on the go.
There’s no mention on the price and availability just yet, but I’m thinking that it has got to be very expensive.

I’ve seen a news on the internet whereby someone’s iPhone charger melted when recharging their iPhone midway. It seems that the charger was pretty hot when the charging process took place.
The iPhone owner called Apple to report the incident and annoyingly, Apple’s customer service was reluctant to replace the damaged stuff. This is pretty surprising as Apple boasts one of the best customer services for their products – the owner had to twist his way to bend the will of the person handling this call.
Well if you own an iPhone – there’s always a possibility of this piece of technological marvel catching fire when you are charging it midway.

For those who don’t notice what President Obama is doing – he is actually trying to pump confidence into the market, so that investors have the confidence in investing into US stocks again.
Already the stock market has taken severe beatings over the past couple of months, the future trend is forecasted to continue to be bearish for the next 6 months.
You might be thinking that the Obama administration might be trying to bankrupt the US government by pumping trillions of dollars into the market – but think again, should the US market slumped into one of the greatest depression in history, I don’t think that the effect is irreversible.
I think that Obama definitely has my ‘Aye’ on his actions.

ASUS is taking another step further for their netbooks or rather ultraportables in the market by unveiling their latest work of art – the 1008HA.
The 1008HA is set to conquer the ultraportable market and the notebook is so slim, that it’s only 1-inch think and weighs just a mere 2.4 pounds.
However, do take note that ASUS have not built an actual working model, but they rather showcased a plastic shell of their 10-inch 1008HA.
On the other hand, I’m pretty sure ASUS will also be throwing in various goodies inside the 1008HA, such as WiMAX, 802.11n, Bluetooth, 3G and many more.
Don’t you think that this is a beauty?

Remember when ASUS took the market by storm by introducing their flagship netbooks into the market? Well apparently, ASUS is at it again, and this time they have unveiled their cutesy EEE Top.
The EEE Top resembles something like an all-in-one PC and better yet, it even comes with touchscreen capabilities. Personally, I feel that this particular PC is really ideal for presentation sessions as you can easily move it around to show your clients the presentation materials.
On the other hand, the EEE Top has the following hardware configurations:
15.6-inch touchscreen 1.6GHz Atom processor 1GB of memory Windows XP 160GB drive
It’s available in either black or white and you can even pre-order it on Amazon. So how much? It’s retailing for $599.99.

Who wants some special edition Studio 15 laptop by Dell? Well apparently, Dell has unveiled their latest Studio 15 laptop to the market and the laptop even comes with a custom paint job, called the ‘Black Vapor’.
On the other hand, the Studio 15 would come with the latest LCD backlit display which is capable of displaying 1440 x 900 resolution.
Personally, I just love the stylish black design of the Studio 15 and with a custom paint job over the hood, it makes it one of the ‘2009 must-buys’.
Here are the specs for the PC:
Pentium Dual Core or Core 2 Duo processors 4GB of RAM 320GB hard drive ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450 graphics
Price might vary between $799 to $949 – which entirely depend on how you configure your laptop.

I noticed that almost every leading PC manufacturers out there are pushing out stylish and glossy notebooks out into the market and recently, ASUS has introduced their latest U and UX series into the market.
The U series will feature a 15.6 glossy LCD display and what makes the U series rather unique is the fact that whenever you use the touchpad, there will be a fading light that will follow your fingertips – cool isn’t it?
On the other hand, the laptop also comes packed with good raw hardware power under the hood. It would be equipped with the following:
NVIDIA GeForce G105M Intel Core 2 Duo processor 500GB HDD Altec Lansing speakers SRS true surround sound
It’s a really mean PC under the hood.

South Korea has such an appetite for PMPs or rather portable media players in their market. If you remember, the Cowon D2+ PMP was unveiled in Korean soil a couple of months back and it drew lots of media attention.
Apparently, the Cowon D2+ PMP is set to hit the American soil this month. On the other hand, the pricing scheme would be as the following:

When the X110 was premiered in Europe sometime September last year, I was pretty fascinated by the X110 glossy and stylish exterior. Apparently, LG has set the X110 to launch in American soil sometime July this year and I’m very anticipated to take a good look at the X110!
Available in 3 colors, namely pink, black and white, the X110 also has a distant cousin, namely the X120.
According to specific news sources, the X110 would be retailed at $400 and this is an unsubsidized price.
It’s such a stylish device!

Yet another stylish portable media player has hit the market and it’s the FineDrive iQ500. Personally, I think the designers did a very good job designing the phone’s outlook. They gave it a very sleek, glossy, black and orange exterior which I think is pretty cool!
On the other hand, this particular FineDrive iQ500 is available for the South Korean market.
And apart from its sleek outlook, the specifications are very good too:
7-inch LCD (800 x 480 resolution) 600MHz ARM processor 4GB / 8GB of internal storage SDHC expansion slot WinCE GPS module DMB TV tuner
I’m thinking that this is even more stylish than the iPod. Of course, since it’s still all too new, there isn’t a word on the price or availability just yet.

Remember when Nokia used to introduce their tough phone in the past? Well Nautiz is apparently 10 years late to move into the tough phone market by introducing their Nautiz X5 phone.
In my own opinion, I believe that the phone’s design is a monstrosity. It resembles something of a joke which I think is very plasticky, fit for a toy phone.
On the other hand, don’t be fooled by the phone’s appearance as it comes with the following goodies:
3 megapixel camera with LED flash Barcode scanner – why would anyone want this? Bluetooth 802.11b/g 3.5-inch VGA LCD Windows Mobile 6.1 806MHz Marvell CPU 256MB of RAM
No word on the pricing though, but I have a feeling that it wouldn’t come cheap.

I come to think that NTT Docomo is rather too late when it comes to the electronics market as they failed to produce anything good for a very long time.
Of course, both NTT Docomo and Sharp showcased their latest pico projectors down at the Mobile World Congress and I can say that the darkly lit case as well as what’s contained inside the case, isn’t really spectacular.
On the other hand, the specs for these pico projectors are very sketchy, probably both NTT Docomo and Sharp might just roll it out of their production line very soon as there might not be demand for it?
Nevertheless, take a look at the NTT Docomo and Sharp pico projectors (in a darkly lit case):

I was down at the mall yesterday and I caught a glimpse of the Mini 12 in action and I instantly fell in love with it! To tell you the truth, I’m not really a huge fan for big and bulky laptops, but something rather slim and stylish with glossy finishing and the Mini 12 just fits all my criteria!
